D1A on the verge of losing double Golden Boot ?: West Ham interested in winger Hans Vanaken

The Hammers could make an offer for the Club Brugge star by the end of the transfer window, on 5 October.

Club Brugge could lose their best player by the end of the transfer window. Winner of the last two editions of the Golden Shoe, rewarding the best Belgian league player, Hans Vanaken could leave the reigning Belgian champion in the direction of England.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, the Belgian would be of particular interest to West Ham and David Moyes, who could submit an offer to Club Brugge by October 5, the deadline for the transfer window in Belgium.

The London club will have to pay the price, however, if they are to acquire the 28-year-old Red Devils, who still have four years of contract with the Blauws in Zwart.

‘No thanks’ – West Ham offered deal to sign player, and reject opportunity

West Ham have been offered the chance to sign Kevin Malcuit and have rejected the opportunity, report AreaNapoli on Saturday.

Malcuit is a 29-year-old defender who mainly plays at right-back. He signed for Napoli in 2018 from Lille, and has had an up and down time at the Serie A club.

Last season he only managed four league appearances, picking up a cruciate ligament injury in October 2019. Such an injury relatively recently is not going to be an attractive prospect for buyers, and that could be why West Ham said ‘no thanks’ to the transfer.

AreaNapoli say an intermediary was trying to set up a deal with the Premier League club, which is a common scenario, especially when Serie A players are concerned.

Malcuit isn’t considered a key player any longer at Napoli, so it’s likely his agents have been given to permission to find him a new club. Parma have been interested in a potential loan, but the player isn’t keen on the move.

Exclusive: Rugani, official steps of West Ham. Juve's request

Daniele Rugani could leave Juve by 5 October. The conditional remains, because a proposal must arrive that for the Juventus club must not be less than 18-20 million plus bonuses and possibly not on loan, however there is room for negotiation. There is only one club that, for the moment, has taken official steps for the central defender: it is West Ham, Rugani's profile has had total appreciation, there is technical support. In recent days, Rennes, Fulham and Sevilla have also tried, but there are no great margins. While with West Ham you can go on, under Juve's conditions.
